I understand that I could be dating and should be dating, but for some reason, I am resistant. Am I expecting too much? I would love to be pursued by someone who is taken by me. A man who loves his relationship with God more than any other in his life. Someone who isn't afraid to love only me. He doesn't have another girl in his back pocket, in case. He has made up his mind about me. But more than anything, I want a best friend.

You're definatly not expecting too much. To expect someone to be pure and genuine is not too much, especially when it comes to your heart. Proverbs 4:23 "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."
